Cedynia Regional Museum - a museum based in Cedynia. It is a municipal organizational unit, operating within the structures of the Cedynia Culture and Sports Center. It is located on the first floor of a mid-19th century building on Wolności Square.
The Museum was established as part of the celebrations of the Millennium of the Polish State, and a year later it was given its statute and current name.
Currently the museum presents a permanent exhibition entitled "The History of Cedynia and its Neighborhood". The museum is currently presenting a permanent exhibition entitled "From the History of Cedynia and the Surrounding Area". It is comprised of archeological exhibits from excavations carried out by the National Museum in Szczecin and the Cedynia Museum on the Cedynia settlement, settlement and cemetery. The oldest exhibits date back to 12,000 BC. The oldest exhibits date back to 12 thousand years B.C. while later exhibits date to the Stone, Bronze, and Iron Ages. Separate exhibitions are devoted to the Battle of Cedynia and the forcing of the Oder River in April 1945. As part of these exhibitions, visitors can see charts showing the course of the battle and numerous military objects.
As part of the tour, the institution also provides an observation tower, dating back to 1895.
The museum is a year-round facility, open except Mondays. There is an admission fee.
