Murături

Murături are vegetables or fruit pickled in brine or vinegar, as found in the cuisines of Romania and Moldova. The pickles are ordinarily made of locally grown foodstuffs such as beetroot, cucumber, green tomatoes, carrots, cabbage, bell peppers, melons, mushrooms, turnips, celery and cauliflower.
