The Roman Catholic chapel in Odorheiu Secuiesc is a historical and architectural monument from the 13th-16th centuries.
The architectural style is Romanesque. Archaeologist Mariana Beldie carried out the first excavations in 1973. Most art historians believe that the chapel was built in the 16th century. 13TH CENTURY. Similar constructions, having a "round" shape, are: the Chapel "Saint Anne" in Gheorgheni, the Chapel "Saint Stephen" in Sânzieni and another one in Doboșeni.
The ceiling of the chapel in Odorheiu Secuiesc is 4 m high, the frescoes were made in the 17th century. They were painted in the 17th century by András and János Asztalos from Sâmbătești in Harghita, but were erased in 1903. The chapel is surrounded by a triangular stone wall. The main entrance to the chapel is engraved with the year "1771".
