The ensemble consists of the following monuments: the Roman Catholic Church "St. Michael", the Enclosure Wall
According to Miklós Endes, the church was built in 1198. It was first mentioned, together with the locality, in the charters in 1332 by St. Michaele. It has Romanesque, Gothic and Baroque architectural elements.
During the Turkish-Tatar attacks in 1661, the church and tower suffered extensive damage. One of the tower bells was cast in 1666. In 1694 the Tartars attacked the village of Mihăileni for the last time and the church tower was again damaged by them. At the beginning of the 16th cent. 18th century, the tower was rebuilt. The church wall dates from the 16th century. It is 3 m high. The first renovation took place in 1552 under the supervision of Balázs Orbán in 1819, then in 1859 under Benkő Károly.
The Catholic church is polygonal in shape, with a closed apse, 10.3 m long, 6.6 m wide and enclosed by three sides of an octagon. On one of the inner walls is the carved coat of arms of the nobleman Hontpázmány and the Slavonic prince Ioan Szentgyörgy. The church's engraving has two closed corners with a carved shield depicting Christ suffering, and another emblem is in the shape of a rose, representing the Virgin Mary. Recently discovered fragments of the fresco of the legend of St Ladislaus can be seen.
The length of the vessel is 10.20 metres wide and 6.60 metres broad. The south-west and north-west corners of the ship are supported by heavy piers. To the south, a side wing is attached. The corners of the sanctuary, which end at the five sides of the octagon, are reinforced by pillars with three semicircular windows.
The first detailed description of the monument building dates back to 1929 by József Sebestyén.
