Lake Vidraru

Nestled in the picturesque Făgăraș Mountains of Romania, Lake Vidraru is a man-made marvel that serves both as a vital source of hydroelectric power and a stunning tourist destination. Completed in 1965, the Vidraru Dam created this expansive body of water, which now covers an area of approximately 870 hectares and reaches depths of up to 155 meters.
