Viștea Mare, a towering presence in the Romanian landscape, stands majestically as part of the Făgăraș Mountains, within the Southern Carpathians. Rising to an impressive altitude of 2,527 meters, Viștea Mare is the third highest peak in Romania, surpassed only by Moldoveanu and Negoiu.
