The Ciumei Column, also known as the Ciumei Statue or the Holy Trinity Monument, is erected in the middle of Timișoara's Unirii Square, in keeping with the architectural style of the surrounding buildings. The monument is part of the typology of the columns of the ciumei, which were widespread in the Baroque era throughout the southern German, Bohemian and Hungarian areas.
