The Kulikovo Pole State Museum-Reserve is a Russian museum dedicated to the Battle of Kulikovo. It was established in October 1996 and is included in the State List of Especially Valuable Objects of Cultural Heritage of the Peoples of the Russian Federation.
The funds of the museum-reserve include more than 50,000 items. More than 40000 of them are archaeological objects: from the Stone Age to the late Middle Ages. The staff consists of more than 300 people.
On the territory of the museum-reserve there are the following sights and museums: the monument-column to Dmitry Donskoy, 1850, architect Alexander Briullov - monument of architecture of the Russian Federation; the church-monument to Sergius of Radonezh, 1917, architect Alexei Shchusev - monument of architecture of the Russian Federation; The Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, 1884, by architect Alexander Bocharnikov - an architectural monument of the Tula region; the Museum of Kulikovo Battle, the Children's Quest Museum, the Museum and Memorial Complex to the Heroes of the Kulikovo Battle in the village of Monastyrschino, the Memorial on the Red Hill. Also part of the museum-reserve is a department - the Museum of merchant's life in the village of Epifan and a branch - the Museum "Tula antiquities" in Tula.
