Haneeth is a traditional dish originated from Yemen. It is also very popular in the rest of the Arabian Peninsula. The Haneeth is mentioned in the Quran.
Preparation
Haneeth meat is traditionally prepared in a hot Tannur that is prepared by burning coal, Leptadenia pyrotechnica and palm fronds which gives the meat its special taste. The Hawaij is usually added to the meat.
