Frčkov
Facts and practical information
Frčkov - the second largest peak in the Great Fatra mountain group in the Western Carpathians in Slovakia.
The name refers to the removal of the main ridge of this mountain group, between Krížna in the south and Ostredok in the north, about 1 km south of this last summit. On some maps between Krížna and Frčkov, the Noštek peak is also distinguished. This removal is the point of the aforementioned, quite equal section of the ridge, covered with the total name Pustolovčia. Built, like the neighboring peaks, from relatively low -resistant margins, it has a gently formed sculpture and is covered entirely with meadows. He sends a massive, sharply falling arm to the west, separating the Veterné and Rovné valleys, which are the top floors of Dedašova Valley. Towards the east, he falls into the Klinčyka valley, which is a branch of the dry valley.
