Hrubá kopa, Tatra National Park
Facts and practical information
Hruba Kopa, also called the tower - a peak with a height of 2168 m in the Western Tatras. It is located in the Main Foreign Foreign Fathers, between three kopami, from which it is separated by a small Hruba Przehyba Pass, and a banks from which he is separated by the Pass nad Zawratami. Steep northern walls fall into a glacial burned valley boiler. In the north-eastern direction, a short and low ridge comes to Rohack's ponds. On the southern side, more gentle, grassy-stone slopes fall to great dawns.
Hruba Kopa has a domed and stony peak. Interesting views extend from it. The name of the mountain comes from the fact that it is massive compared to e.g. neighboring three kopami. Earlier measurements determined its height at 2163, 2165 or 2166 m.
