Gýmeš is a castle ruin on the steep quartz hill Dúň on the southern slope of the Tribeč Mountains, about 5 km north of the village of Jelenec. The ruin is a significant landmark of the surrounding area. Gýmeš is one of the family castles of the noble family of the Forgáč family - along with the Galicia Castle.
