Facts and practical information

Tičarjev house on Vršič - a tourist hostel that lies on the Vršič road pass. The first "Slovenian shelter" was built on August 4, 1912. The current hostel was built on old foundations on July 31, 1966, named after Dr. Josip Tičar, a former president of the Slovenian Mountain Society and co -founder of the Slovenian mountain emergency service. It is managed by PD Jesenice.
