The Alcazar del Rey Don Pedro is the Royal Alcazar of Carmona. It is officially called Alcázar de Arriba and Puerta de Marchena, another name is Alcázar de la Puerta de Marchena. It is located in the municipality of Carmona, Spain. This building was built by Pedro I of Castile, like the Palace of Pedro I of the Royal Alcazar of Seville.
It is located in the street Los Alcázares of the town, it is accessed by a large pointed horseshoe arch, the courtyard is defended by three towers and from the terrace you have a good view of the Vega de Carmona.
The Mayor Francisco Ojeda Montero inaugurated the Parador del Alcázar del Rey Don Pedro on March 30th, 1976. The kings of Spain, Juan Carlos I and Sofia attended.
