The church of San Juan de la Cruz, formerly the parish church of San Andrés, located at Calle Poeta Querol nº 6 in the city of Valencia, was one of the first to be founded after the conquest of James I of Aragon, on the site of an old mosque. Its current configuration dates, however, between 1602 and 1615 and its first stone was laid by the Patriarch and Archbishop of Valencia Juan de Ribera.
