The parish church of Santa María, in Deva, Guipúzcoa, Basque Country, is a 15th-century building, currently considered a BIC.
Gothic building with an imposing polychrome façade and Gothic cloister, the first in Guipúzcoa. Imposing interior with its three naves and ribbed vaults surrounded by chapels that open between the buttresses of the nave.
The tower rises above the portico to which it opens in three directions. The sacristy is richly furnished with baroque drawers designed by the master Francisco de Ibero and since ancient times it has stood out among the rest of the rest of the country.
Inside, the main altarpiece of Nuestra Señora de la Asunción, by Bernabé Cordero in 1662 and assembled by Pedro de Alloitiz in 1668, stands out. The collaterals of Our Lady of the Rosary and San Miguel from 1683 are the last known works of Pedro de Alloitiz.
