Facts and practical information
The Colomina hut is a mountain hut at the head of the Vall Fosca, at 2425 m altitude, next to the Colomina lake, in the municipality of Torre de Cabdella, in the Pallars Jussá, province of Lérida, Spain.
It is accessed from the Sallente reservoir, at 1777 m, where there is a car park. From here, a steep ascent leads first to Gento lake, at 2142 m, and then to Colomina lake, at 2420 m. If the cable car runs to Gento lake, it is only a 45-minute ascent after that.
The Sallente reservoir is 4.5 km from the village of Torre de Capdella, and about 35 km from Pont de Suert, heading north along the Vall Fosca.
