Torre Vigía El Cantal, Rincón de la Victoria

The Cantal Tower is one of the defence towers of Arab origin in La Axarquía.

It is located, as its name suggests, in El Cantal, which is on a hill, and is the junction between La Cala del Moral and Rincón de la Victoria. On the extension of this mountain out to sea, that is to say, on the cliff, is the tower, which can be seen from the beach of Rincón de la Victoria, but not from the beach of La Cala, as it is oriented towards the Rincón area. It is surrounded by houses, which have settled there because of the fantastic views and the proximity to the tower.
