The Oyambre Natural Park is a Spanish protected natural area located in the western coastal area of Cantabria. It has 5758 hectares of extension, which are distributed between the municipalities of Comillas, San Vicente de la Barquera, Udías, Valdáliga and Val de San Vicente, in La Marina. It was declared a natural park on November 21, 1988 as the culmination of a process of pressure from the environmental and popular movement that since the seventies fought against urbanization projects that endangered its dunes and beach.
