The hermitage of Santa Justa, located on the beach of Santa Justa, term of Ubiarco is a semi-excavated construction in the rock of an anticline. On November 12, 2010, it was announced its declaration as an Asset of Local Interest with the category of property. Of semi-rocky character, it only has two stone walls of masonry, in addition to the one-water tile roof, all of it attached to the cliff.
The current building dates back to the 16th century, consecrated thanks to the relics of Saint Justa and Rufina. Over time it became a focus of pilgrimage in the region, one of the first of the Cantabrian coast. On the cliff on which it stands, stand the remains of the Tower of San Telmo.
