Facts and practical information
The Peñerudes Tower is a medieval building located in the Asturian council of Morcín.
It has been declared a Historical Monument and its origin dates back to the High Middle Ages, specifically to the 12th century. It is located at an altitude of 530 metres above sea level on a mound on the north side of the village of El Campo, in the parish of Peñerudes. Nowadays it is only partially preserved, being in ruins for more than a hundred years. In 2020 it was included in the Red Heritage List of Hispania Nostra.
