The monastery of Santa María y San Andrés, commonly known as the monastery of San Andrés de Arroyo, is an abbey of Cistercian nuns, of the Congregation of San Bernardo or of Castilla, located in the town of San Andrés de Arroyo, municipality of Santibáñez de Ecla, in the Ojeda region of the Province of Palencia. As an artistic monument is an exquisite example of rural Cistercian art, between the twelfth and thirteenth centuries, and therefore in the transition from Romanesque to Gothic.
