Montaña Blanca is a geological edifice located on the island of Tenerife -Canary Islands, Spain-, in the foothills of Mount Teide. It is a volcanic cone of not very pronounced silhouette that originated within the volcanic period Post-Miocene Formations or Recent Series II, III and IV and is part of the Pico Viejo-Teide Building.
Its last eruption was about 2000 years ago.
