Ädelost

Ädelost is a delectable blue cheese originating from Sweden, crafted from pasteurized cow’s milk. Distinguished by its light cream color beautifully marbled with blue-gray veins, Ädelost boasts a sharp, salty flavor that aficionados find irresistible.

The cheese also features a slightly moldy rind, which enhances its unique character. Typically, Ädelost is found in cylindrical shapes, measuring approximately 18 cm (7.1 inches) in diameter and 10 cm (3.9 inches) in height, with an average weight of around 2.5 kg (5.5 lbs). With a rich 50% fat content, it matures over a period of 2 to 3 months to achieve its full flavor.
