Callanderska gården or Callanderska färgargården in Mariefred is a local museum.
The history of the farm is documented as far back as 1594. The main building was built in the 1740s by the glassmaker Slottman and the wing building in the 1780s by the painter Löfving. The farm was a dyeing farm from 1766.
In 1947 the Callanderska farm was donated to Mariefred by the artist Sofia Nordvaeger.
Today, the buildings of the Callanderska farm house the Mariefred local history museum. Here you will find a bourgeois interior from the later part of the 19th century, a costume collection and a garden of the old kind with a herb garden.
On the first day of Advent, there is an annual old-fashioned Christmas market in the streets and squares, and Advent coffee with home-baked bread is served at Callanderska Farm. The weaving hut is open with the sale of handicrafts.
