Cedergrenska Tornet, Stockholm
Facts and practical information
The Cedergrenska Tower is a municipally owned building in the Cedergrenska Park in the municipality of Danderyd. It was built on behalf of Albert Gotthard Nestor Cedergren, a master hunter, on his land in Stocksund. Cedergren had been the first to buy land from Stockby AB, a limited company founded to develop land and create a residential community in Stocksund. After many years of unfinished construction, the tower was completed and inaugurated on 21 April 1996. The building is K-marked. Today, the building is operated by the Cedergrenska school group and is used, among other things, as an event and conference venue.
