St. Olaf in Norrköping-parish church of the Evangelical Lutheran church of Sweden, located in the Norrköpings SEP: T Olofs Församling, belonging to the diocese of Linköping.
The currently existing church is the third or fourth in the same place. He was dedicated in 1767. Sometimes called the Coronation Church, because in 1800 Gustaw IV Adolf and his wife Frederick were crowned in it. The church is called on St. Olaf, patron of Norrköping. It is located in the city center, near Drottninggatan. It was built on the model of Roman churches, and its facade is one of the greatest in Sweden. The church also includes a free -standing, about 70 m belfry from 1750, called Stadstornet, flanked by two farm buildings, commonly known as wellies.
St. Olafa has the status of a sacred monument according to chapter 4 Kulturminneslagen because it was erected before the end of 1939. It is entered under number 21300000004323 in the register of monuments of Bebyggelseregistret kept by Riksantikvarieämbet.
