Fältöversten is a combined shopping centre and residential district at Karlaplan 15 in Östermalm, Stockholm. The development consists of a ground floor shopping centre with association facilities and community services and an upper terrace level with five residential buildings. The Fältöversten block has a triangular shape and is bounded by Värtavägen, Valhallavägen and Erik Dahlbergsallén adjacent to Karlaplan. Fältöversten is also the name of the block, which until the 1930s was divided into Fältöversten and Fältväbeln. In the neighbourhood there are similar block names with military connections such as Furiren, Trumslagaren and Ryttaren. In 2008, the 534 apartments were converted into condominiums.
