Tessinerplatz is a square in the city of Zurich in the Enge neighborhood. It is closed by the Enge railroad station, which was built between 1925 and 1927 of granite from Ticino and gave its name to the square in front of it. The square was named on the occasion of 150 years of affiliation of the Canton of Ticino to the Swiss Confederation in 1953.
The square was redesigned from 2005 to 2006 as part of the renewal and reorganization of the tracks of the Zurich public transport company. Since 2006, Tessinerplatz and the station building have been part of the city's Plan Lumière.
