Facts and practical information
The reformed Gallus Chapel in Oberstammheim, is considered the oldest church building in the Stammheim Valley. Its Romanesque core dates back to the 11th/12th century. Due to its high Gothic frescoes from the beginning of the 14th century, it is considered an important cultural asset. For this reason, it is also under federal monument protection and is included in the list of cultural assets of national importance in the Canton of Zurich.
