Janowski Cemetery - a cemetery in Lviv, in Kleparów, founded in 1888 operating to the present; It covers about 45 ha of surface, but it is poorer and less impressive than the Lychakiv Cemetery.
In the period of the Second Polish Republic at the Janowski Cemetery, the quarters of the victims of Polish-Ukrainian fighting for Lviv from 1918–1920, both Polish soldiers and soldiers of the Ukrainian Halicka army, were built.
The Janowski Cemetery also includes the graves of prisoners of war from World War I.
The Jewish cemetery adjacent to the cemetery with a modern huge funeral hall from 1912. This cemetery and the funeral hall were destroyed by the Germans during World War II and during the post -war Soviet rule. After 1962, the cemetery was available to non-Jews. Holocaust historian Jakub Honigsman is buried here.
