Tempa
Facts and practical information
Tempa is a mountain in the western part of the Svidovets massif. Height - 1634 m. Tempa Mountain is composed of piskoviks, there are pockets of vapnyakiv. Up to a height of 1400 meters - coniferous and beech forests, twisted trees, above - meadows with mountain mounds.
A small ridge called Bedevlaska adjoins the mountain from the eastern end, and the Shanta Ridge from the eastern end. To the south of Tempa is located Velika Kurtyaska mountain, to the east-west are mountains Shpanska, Stogi and Pid Stogami. Through the Tempa is a popular tourist route "Svidovets vertices" - from the village of Yasinya to the village of Ust-Chorna.
Nearby settlements: the village of Ust-Chorna, the village of Krasna.
The Shanta River, the right tributary of the Malaya Shopurka, has its source on the pivdenno-northern slopes of the peak.
