Puttenham Common is owned by the Hampton Estate and managed on behalf of Surrey County Council by the Surrey Wildlife Trust. Hillbury Hillfort on Puttenham Common is a scheduled monument. It is a univallate hillfort which probably dates to the Iron Age. ()
