The Ballona Creek Bike Path is a 6.7 miles stretch of Class 1 bicycle path and a pedestrian walkway on federally owned land of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers that is managed by the County of Los Angeles County and parallels Ballona Creek for most of its entire length. Syd Kronenthal Park on McManus Street, at the back of the sports fields, by a row of Blue Gum Eucalyptus trees is the starting point of the bicycle path, near where Jefferson Boulevard veers south to spawn National Boulevard in Culver City.
