The ruins of Ödenfest Castle, also called Malenthein, Rauhenfest or Malta for short, are the ruins of a medieval hilltop castle at about 1000 m above sea level above the village of Malta in Carinthia, built in the 11th century, but abandoned to decay already in the 14th century.
