The Collegiate Church of St. Peter is the abbey church of the Benedictine Archabbey of St. Peter in the middle of the St. Peter district immediately at the foot of the Mönchsberg in the city of Salzburg. The church was consecrated to St. Peter the Apostle. The entire complex of St. Peter's Abbey is a listed building. After a year of extensive renovations, the collegiate church reopened on Sept. 22, 2019, with the consecration of a new altar by the Archbishop of Salzburg and the Archabbot of St. Peter.
