Prime University or PU is a private university of the country located in Mirpur, Dhaka, Bangladesh. The university was established according to the law of Private University Act 1992. It is affiliated by the University Grants Commission Bangladesh. A group of educationists and philanthropist has established this institute in the year 2002. PU is the first venture of the Prime Foundation. At present the university has ten undergraduate and eight graduate programs offered by the five faculties. ()
