Praça do Japão is a public space in the municipality of Curitiba, capital of the Brazilian state of Paraná.
It was built in honor of the Japanese immigrants who arrived from 1910 onwards. The capital of Paraná has the second largest Japanese community in Brazil, after São Paulo, and today is home to more than 32,000 of their descendants.
