Praça Carlos Simão Arnt, known as Praça da Encol, is one of the best known squares in the city of Porto Alegre. It is located on Nilópolis Avenue, east side of the city, in Bela Vista neighborhood. It became known after the former construction company Encol adopted the area and completely remodeled it. The square initially had a surface area of approximately 24 thousand square meters, which was increased by two thousand square meters after a repossession suit with a favorable decision for the city government. It now has 26,670 square meters. It has three multi-sports courts, a covered bocce court, a playground, several benches, as well as a walking and jogging track.

It is also used for holding outdoor parties and concerts.
