Muñoz Gamero Square, also known as Plaza de Armas, is a public space located in the city of Punta Arenas, Chile. The square is located in the quadrant formed by the streets Carlos Bories and Hernando de Magallanes on the north, Julio Roca and Pedro Montt on the east, José Nogueira and 21 de mayo on the south, Fagnano and Waldo Seguel on the west. The square was declared a Typical Zone in 1991 by the Council of National Monuments. In the center there is a bronze sculpture that was inaugurated in 1920 and represents the navigator Hernando de Magallanes.
