The Plaza de Armas of Puerto Montt -officially baptized as Plaza de Armas Capitán de Fragata Buenaventura Martínez- is the main square and nerve center of the city of Puerto Montt, capital of the Los Lagos Region. It is located just one block from the Reloncaví Inlet and is the starting point of the Carretera Austral in its northernmost part.
