Playa Brava, Arica
Facts and practical information
Brava Beach is a Pacific Ocean beach located in the Tarapacá Region, Chile. It is located in the southern sector of Iquique between Playa Huayquique and Playa Cavancha.
This beach occupies a large part of the coast of Iquique and is not suitable for swimming as it has a strong swell. Here you can see the best summer sunsets and is an excellent place for those who like to relax, observe and enjoy nature. It can be easily reached by the Costanera Avenue.
Currently there is a project that indicates that possibly by 2015 breakwaters will be built, in order to take advantage of this large space and at the same time be suitable for bathing.
