El Rodadero is a seaside resort in the city of Santa Marta, on the shores of the Caribbean Sea in Colombia. It corresponds to the northern zone of the Gaira-Rodadero commune and is characterized by its light sandy beaches and high-rise buildings. Its development began in the mid 1950's and since then it has become one of the main tourist destinations in the country.
