The Church of the Finding of the Holy Cross at the Capuchin Monastery in Brno is a Roman Catholic rectorate church of the Brno diocese. It is located on the Capuchin Square in the Brno-Central district, in the cadastral area of the City of Brno and belongs to the Order of the Capuchin Friars Minor. The church is protected as a cultural monument of the Czech Republic.
Capuchin churches and monasteries all over the world have a typical architecture and are therefore very similar. In fact, they were built according to a uniform Belgian-Flemish model designed by a member of the Order from the Venetian province, P. Antonio of Pardenone. This style harked back to the original ideals of poverty proclaimed by St Francis of Assisi.
