Lovoš, Lovosice

Lovoš - Góra in the Northern Czech Republic, in the Ujski country, the Litomierzyce period, located 2 kilometers from Lovosic. Due to the conical shape, it is one of the most characteristic mountains of the Czech middle power.
It is built mainly of basalt rocks and Fonolites. The southern slopes are covered with bushes and steppe vegetation, northern slopes - forest. In 1948 a nature reserve was founded on the Lovoš massif. Plants under protection can be replaced with ash -olis, meadow sasana, ostnica Jan, purple maiden or dining dogwood. Among the species of fauna on Lovoš, there are, among others: ortholan, wood spruce, zigzag viper and angular anger.
From the summit there is a wide view of the Elbe Valley. In 1924 a shelter was built on the top, it is open to this day.
