Facts and practical information

Elbe waterfall - mountain waterfall in Western Sudetes in the western part of the Giant Mountains. It belongs to the largest and most famous Czech waterfalls. Its creation is associated with retrospective erosion of the Elbe. In 1828, a reservoir with a focus was built here, after paying the fee you could see a swollen cascade of the waterfall. Then wooden stairs were also added. The historic dam is 1 m high, 8 m long and 2 m wide. From 1987, a viewing bridge has also been available to tourists.
