The Zákupy State Chateau is a 16th-century Renaissance chateau in the town of Zákupy, 8 km east of Česká Lípa by the Svitávka River. The castle grounds include numerous farm buildings, a moat with a bear, an English and a French park. The castle is under the administration of the National Heritage Institute and is open to the public. It is protected as a cultural monument and is part of the urban conservation area created in April 2003.
