Giza pyramid complex, Cairo

The Giza pyramid complex, an archaeological site situated on the Giza Plateau near Cairo, Egypt, is one of the most astonishing and enduring monuments of ancient Egyptian civilization. Comprising the Great Pyramid of Giza, the Pyramid of Khafre, and the Pyramid of Menkaure, along with the Great Sphinx and several smaller satellite pyramids, this complex is both a testament to ancient engineering prowess and a focal point of historical intrigue.

The centerpiece of the complex, the Great Pyramid, built for the Pharaoh Khufu (also known as Cheops), stands as a marvel of ancient construction.
