Palais Universitaire
The Palais Universitaire in Strasbourg is a large, neo-Renaissance style building, constructed between 1879 and 1884 under the direction of the German architect Otto Warth. It was inaugurated in 1884 by Wilhelm I, Emperor of Germany.

The historic main building, from 1892, is classified as a Monument historique by the French Ministry of Culture since 1981. The façade was designed by Anton Seder and executed by Léon Elchinger, one of his first students.
