The church of Saint-Pierre was built in Mont-Dol during the second half of the 12th century. Sensitively restored and transformed in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, it was listed in the supplementary inventory of historical monuments by order of February 12, 1971. The interior presents a set of medieval frescoes classified among the most important in Ille-et-Vilaine.
